- ➤ Ogden Union Station will host a celebration for the city’s 175th anniversary on Feb. 6 from 6-9 p.m., featuring free admissions to Museums at Union Station starting at 4 p.m. and a display of historic documents, live music + food trucks in conjunction with First Friday Art Stroll. - ➤ Fremont High girls' basketball won 64-24 over West Field on Wednesday at Fremont High in Plain City. With a 13-0 start and 19 points from Abigail Christensen, the Silverwolves earned their ninth win while West Field struggled after senior center Kylee Mueller was sidelined early. Standard-Examiner
- ➤ Clearfield High girls basketball beat Bonneville 60 to 43 in a Region 5 sweep on Wed, Jan. 28 after an 18 to 1 run boosted momentum, while senior guard Izzy Wyaskett led with 21 points (7 of 8 free throws). Standard-Examiner
- ➤ Roy High boys basketball won against Northridge (65-55) in a Region 5 game where senior Boston Greenhalgh led with 20 points. The Royals will travel to Bonneville on Friday for their next contest. Standard-Examiner
- ➤ Yesterday, Ogden beat Logan 54-46 in a regional contest as West Field High secured a rivalry win at Fremont with Daxton Laughter scoring 27 points, and Morgan had a 36-point quarter (against Grantsville). Other regional games saw wins for Bear River and American Heritage. Standard-Examiner
