- ➤ The Utah Board of Higher Education announced it is accepting nominations for Weber State University president at Ogden, with applications due by 11:59 p.m. on April 2. - ➤ Ogden High's boys basketball team extended its winning streak to eight with a 78-54 victory over Ben Lomond Tuesday. The Tigers, led by Tayson Porter and senior Jackson Maw, now prepare to face Morgan on Friday. Standard-Examiner
- ➤ Roy High edged Clearfield 64 to 60 on Wednesday night in tight Region 5 action as Boston Greenhalgh led with 24 points; West Field also won 58 to 54 over Bonneville as Jaden Fowers impressed with 18 points. Standard-Examiner
- ➤ The Pioneer League announced the RedPocket Mobiles travel team, set to play three games in Ogden against the Raptors June 16 to 18. Former MLB players Dmitri Young & Ray King will lead the team as it becomes the league’s first corporate sponsored travel club in over 100 years. Standard-Examiner
