ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Utah Renewable Communities program lets Ogden residents support clean energy by opting into a $4 monthly fee starting early next year, with cities having until June 2 to enroll. The Sustainability Committee favors the program, and the City Council will discuss it on April 7 then vote in May. KUER
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Utah’s measles outbreak has reached 559 confirmed cases since spring 2025, including 362 so far in 2026; health officials reported 142 new infections in the past three weeks, with most cases among unvaccinated juveniles (445 unvaccinated). Gephardt Daily
