  • Weber Basin Water Conservancy District has set a 20% water use restriction this season & adjusted the watering schedule to run from May 15 to Sept. 15 as drought conditions persist statewide.  KSL-TV
  • Weber State University Sustainability Practices and Research Center cut the ribbon on its Sustainability Home in central Ogden yesterday. The net-zero house features energy-saving appliances and hosts open houses four times per month to help residents learn practical upgrades (and lower their energy bills).  Standard-Examiner

  • The YCC Family Crisis Center hosted the 'What Were You Wearing' exhibit at Weber State on Apr. 1 and will hold a Take Back the Night rally this Friday at Copper Nickel + a popup art exhibit on Apr. 12 at Bigelow Building to offer survivors 24-hour crisis support.  Standard-Examiner
