- ➤ Weber County Search and Rescue responded after a vehicle crashed into Pineview Reservoir on Sunday, April 6th at about 8:30 p.m.—the car rolled from a roadside turnout into water 90 feet deep with no occupants or injuries while investigators continue their work. Standard-Examiner

- ➤ On Monday, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced that he would advise the CDC to stop recommending fluoridation in community drinking water and would set up a task force to study the issue—while the EPA reviews new scientific studies on potential health risks. He praised Utah for being the first state to ban fluoride by requiring city water systems to end fluoridation by May 7. Standard-Examiner
- ➤ Congo repatriated three Americans convicted of a failed coup attempt last year—after their death sentences were changed to life imprisonment—and they returned Tuesday morning to the United States, where they will serve their sentences under a prisoner transfer agreement.
