  • Volunteer firefighters from several local agencies responded to a garage fire in Fielding on April 11 — containing the flames before they reached a nearby home and ensuring all occupants safely evacuated.  Gephardt Daily

  • Roy City Arts Council hosted its annual poetry contest featuring a patriotic theme to honor 250 years of America. Junior and senior high students competed and winners Cambria Hulbert, James Green, and Melia Johnson were recognized for their entries.  Standard-Examiner

  • Andrew Yang spoke at the Forward Party of Utah convention in Taylorsville Saturday—urging hundreds to challenge the two-party system. The party plans to boost independent candidates and address issues like affordable housing and water conservation for upcoming state races.  FOX 13 News
