- ➤ On April 13, Mountain Green Fire responded to multiple emergencies in Huntsville—assisting Weber Engine 65 with a grass fire, helping an injured skier at SnowBasin with the Ogden Fire Department and Ski Patrol, and sending Brush 131 to deliver water at Middle Fork Trailhead while a medevac helicopter transported the injured to the hospital. - ➤ David Rawson, owner of Recycled Earth, was charged Friday in 2nd District Court with two counts of unlawful discharge of pollutants for allegedly releasing oil and gas-related wastewater into Ogden’s waterways in 2022 and 2023—authorities say the charges stem from complaints about a noxious smell and illegal dumping practices. - ➤ The Mormon History Association announced that its 60th annual conference—Junctions & Communities—will be held in Ogden June 5-8 at the Ogden Eccles Conference Center, marking its return after more than two decades.
