- ➤ On Monday, April 22, firefighters from Ogden City Fire and South Ogden Fire responded to a structure fire on the 1600 block of Oakcrest Drive after smoke was seen coming from a single-family home's garage; twenty-four firefighters and several units contained the blaze, safely evacuated the home, and limited damage to about $70,000—an investigation into the cause is underway. - ➤ Weber State University may cut or merge several programs in the coming months as part of a strategic reallocation plan due to House Bill 265, a change announced Monday evening by President Bard Mortensen.
