- ➤ Three people were arrested in Utah in a five-day FBI operation that rescued over 100 children and made over 200 arrests nationwide — one arrest was the director of a local charter school in Ogden charged with possessing more than 10,000 images of child pornography. KSL-TV
- ➤ Ogden man Miguel Salgado-Vargas, 73, faces 637 charges after 152 dogs and cats were rescued from his home on Jefferson Avenue where they lived in extremely poor and overcrowded conditions — charges include animal cruelty, public nuisance, failure to obtain rabies vaccinations, and operating an unlicensed kennel.
