- ➤ Two new grant programs from Ogden Weber Community Action Partnership are boosting local families with rental assistance and case management. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ A state report shows record snowfall in 2022-23 while three seasons later Utah experienced its lowest snowfall ever recorded, highlighting dramatic shifts in winter weather. The Salt Lake Tribune
- ➤ Scientists are studying dust from the exposed lake bed at Great Salt Lake as drought conditions increase dust events. Researchers are installing monitors near communities, including Ogden, to track chemical contaminants and assess potential long-term environmental impacts. FOX 13 News
- ➤ Ogden City has installed four air quality monitors to track dust and pollutants in real time; the data will help inform decisions to improve air quality around Weber State and downtown areas.
