Flood damage under the cellar has shortened the home’s lifespan and he launched a GoFundMe campaign to repair the support beams and add a ventilation system—hoping to preserve the historic property for another 118 years. - ➤ Developers and advocates say that the Olene Walker Housing Loan Fund built more than 27,000 affordable housing units since the mid-1980s but now gives much less money per project—calling on lawmakers to secure a steady revenue source for new builds.
