- ➤ Utah joined 26 other states and the District of Columbia in filing a lawsuit against 23andMe after bankruptcy hearings raised worries that the company might sell personal genetic data without asking first. Mike Lee revived a plan to sell federally managed land in 11 Western states in a draft bill released Wednesday evening — the proposal would let Interior and Agriculture Secretaries list properties for sale within 60 days to boost housing while keeping national parks, monuments and lands with mining or grazing rights off the market.
