Hill Air Force Base and the Utah Air National Guard will conduct a statewide flyover for Independence Day on Saturday, July 4.

The event features F-35A Lightning II and KC-135R aircraft flying over selected cities between about 8 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.

The Ogden Music Festival ended its 18th season at Fort Buenaventura along the Weber River, drawing hundreds who enjoyed eclectic acts such as The Last Wild Buffalo and local performers.

Organizers and volunteers ensured a warm vibe that celebrated diverse musical styles & community spirit.

The restored Utah Merci Car is on display at the Utah State Railroad Museum at Ogden Union Station following a two-year restoration in Wyoming — it returned Tuesday and will receive a protective canopy this fall ahead of a rededication ceremony on July 4.
