- ➤ The Standard-Examiner has named its 2025 All-Area Boys Soccer Second Team to honor nine players for their impressive season stats — Kyle Livermore from Davis tallied nine goals and seven assists while Mickael Haddad Duailibi from Layton Christian produced 14 goals in 17 games. The team also includes players from Ogden, Weber, Fremont, Northridge, Morgan, Ben Lomond and Utah Military Academy who were recognized for key contributions and leadership on the field. - ➤ Ogden High’s soccer star Luis Velasco, named the 2025 Standard-Examiner All-Area Boys Soccer Player of the Year, led his team to back-to-back state titles with 25 assists and 18 goals—he credits strong support from his family and coach Todd Scott for his growth.
