  • After a one-year break and leadership change, the Ogden Arts Festival returns to historic Union Station this weekend. Produced by the Ogden Downtown Alliance, the event features interactive workshops, live mural painting led by local artist Miriam Gutierrez—who designed a mural with five panels that spell "Ogden"—over 100 artist booths, and new additions such as an artist factory and themed competitions.  Standard-Examiner

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Weber County will send out primary election ballots starting Wednesday, with all ballots delivered by July 28. The ballots show a new optional box for voter identification—this field will be required in 2029 as voters register by Aug. 1 and take part in early voting from Aug. 5-8 with the primary on Aug. 12.  Standard-Examiner
