- ➤ Box Elder County Deputy Mike Allred and K-9 Azula appeared Friday night at the Box Elder County Fair and Golden Spike Rodeo to show they are recovering after being shot while responding to Sunday's incident—organizers also honored officers killed in the line of duty. FOX 13 News

- ➤ A short film called 'Quiet, Arlo' from Weber State University's Studio 76 will screen at the Zepstone International Film & Music Festival in Salt Lake City at 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 11— the film, directed by student David Guerrero and starring graduate Dustin Michael Bessire, tells a personal story of addiction and recovery that marks a special anniversary for him. - ➤ Officials reported that Utah's reservoirs dropped drastically as water flowed out at more than double the normal rate—storage is at 67% compared to 83% last year—and levels are expected to keep falling until temperatures cool and the irrigation season ends in October.
