- ➤ An Ogden park was closed on Tuesday afternoon as police and the Bomb Squad investigated a suspicious package at Lorin Farr Park — officials urged people to avoid the area until it was cleared. FOX 13 News

Gov Deidre Henderson said lawmakers now have until November 10 to redraw Utah’s congressional maps for the 2026 midterm elections after a judge invalidated the old boundaries—legislators must hold public input sessions and a special legislative session to meet Proposition 4 standards with a hearing set for October 23rd and 24th.
