On Wednesday a ribbon cutting celebrated the opening of 25th & Quincy, an affordable apartment complex on Capitol Square that offered 176 units for families earning 60% of the area's median income or less.
The project is a partnership between Ogden City and the RDA that aims to boost local economic development.
🎭 Culture
Jim Chew (76) who travels to state fairs nationwide visited the Utah State Fair on Monday and rated it 7 out of 10 after tasting chilaquiles, elote and seeing a butter sculpture at the fairpark (featuring animals and a referee) that runs through Sunday.
He left Tuesday to return home early since his wife is scheduled for surgery in early October.

The Utah Legislature asked the Utah Supreme Court to block a lower court decision that struck down the current congressional map.
Lawmakers and plaintiffs face redistricting challenges as a new map must be drawn by Sept. 25 for the 2026 midterms—plaintiffs called the move ironic.

Northridge High's girls volleyball team beat Clearfield 3-2 on Sept.
9 in a tough five-set match—playing in a hot gym, junior Rachel Tucker logged 17 digs and helped her team rally from a two-set deficit, with Brooklyn Mayfield scoring the winning point in overtime. The win followed a long weekend tournament that tested the team's strength and resolve.
