  • Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in West Haven hosted its biggest fundraiser Saturday to raise funds for much-needed repairs and to rebuild community ties, with local school boosters and families joining the event. Organizers stressed that the fundraiser brought together both Spanish-speaking and English-speaking members of the community — strengthening bonds for the future.  FOX 13 News
  • South Ogden City installed four granite monuments along Friendship Park’s walking path to launch its Heritage Trail—each monument highlights a different part of the area’s history. City Manager Matt Dixon said more monuments will be added when additional funding is secured, with new pieces planned for 2026.  Standard-Examiner
  • A guide of upcoming events in Northern Utah is published covering the week from September 27 to October 5, with local activities in Ogden including Fall Market on Historic 25th Street and Wasatch Yoga Fest today.   • Weber State lost to No. 9 UC Davis 34-12 yesterday after sophomore quarterback Jackson Gilkey injured his ankle with 6 minutes remaining—leaving the team to start a quarterback competition during their bye week. The Wildcats will now work on improving their offense as junior Dijon Jennings and freshman Kingston Tisdell vie for the starting role.  Standard-Examiner
