According to a GasBuddy survey of 160 local stations, Ogden’s average gas price jumped 20.9 cents from Sept.
21 to reach $4.91 a gallon today, and it is 72 cents higher than five weeks ago with prices ranging from $4.69 to $4.99.
🎓 Education
A national survey found that Utah students hold the lowest student debt among 51 states, helped by affordable tuition rates & required personal finance courses in high schools.
Lower debt levels may ease financial burdens as students face rising borrowing costs.
Ogden School Foundation will mark its 30th Fall Author Event on Oct.
1 at the Eccles Center with Ann Patchett headlining a fundraiser for local schools. The program includes a student writing contest + an Oct. 6 session when Brandon Mull will address 900 high school students.
