- ➤ A fire at the Alphia pet food manufacturer near 2900 Wall Avenue broke out Thursday night and caused $3 million in damage after firefighters spent over four hours battling the blaze — they faced diverted smoke from an oven used to cook dog biscuits and a confusing building layout. KSL-TV

- ➤ Ogden's WonderBlock project is nearing a key milestone as its parking structure will open for courthouse workers in a few weeks and for the public later this winter.
