- ➤ Officials dedicated the new Salvation Army’s Ogden Silvercrest Residence—located near downtown Ogden—on Nov. 6, and 25 seniors have moved in so far; the 52-apartment complex offers affordable independent living where residents pay just 30% of their income while federal funds cover the difference. - ➤ Ogden City Arts finished decorating 15 utility boxes downtown with artwork by local artists — a pop-up celebration with an artist reception will be held at Dumke Plaza in spring 2026. - ➤ The Utah Board of Higher Education named Leslie Durham interim president of Weber State University after Brad Mortensen was set to leave for Utah State University. - ➤ The end of daylight saving time has created dangerous driving conditions on Utah roadways as drivers lose an hour of sleep — transportation experts say extra caution is needed during morning and evening commutes. FOX 13 News

- ➤ On Friday, Weber State’s women’s soccer team beat Northern Arizona 2—1 in Missoula to advance to the Big Sky final. First-year coach Kyle Christensen said the win puts the Wildcats one game away from their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2013. Standard-Examiner
