- ➤ On Saturday evening, Ogden’s music community gathered at Kamikaze’s storied stage on Adams Avenue to support local tile setter Julieanne Fowers, who was hurt in a late-summer biking accident on Moose Tracks and needed a life flight rescue. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Ogden-Weber Technical College saw strong growth in the 2025 academic year as it awarded 1,813 certificates with a 35% jump and increased enrollment to 7,558 students. The college will break ground this spring on a new $84 million building—designed to expand programs and add capacity for over 2,000 more students each year. Standard-Examiner

- ➤ The Ogden Nature Center announced Cup Hop 2025, its seventh yearly event, that will run on two weekends—today and tomorrow and again November 21st and 22nd—at seven local coffee shops. - ➤ Utah SNAP recipients will receive full November benefits after the federal government reopened, and those who usually get paid on the 5th or 11th will see their payments on November 14—while those on the 15th will remain on schedule—impacting 86,000 households. KSL-TV

- ➤ Ogden police have launched a free, anonymous machine that gives out Narcan at the Francom Public Safety Building on Lincoln Avenue to help reverse opioid overdoses. The machine dispenses naloxone kits—nasal spray with step-by-step instructions, local resource information, and a code 1234 to access the kit. FOX 13 News
