- ➤ The Utah Board of Higher Education announced a nine-member search committee to choose Weber State’s next long-term president after Brad Mortensen left on Nov. 10 — the committee will look for candidates who can support the school’s mission of access and excellence. - ➤ Ogden’s new House Cat Cafe offers coffee, treats and adoptable cats in a space that includes a main serving area and a separate glass room for the cats — the cafe serves as an official foster for local kitties and hosts weekly family events.
