- ➤ The Ogden City Council voted Tuesday night to explore buying the old Taylor Canyon school site so the green space can remain for community play and gathering — negotiations with the school district will soon determine the best use. - ➤ Davis County Health confirmed its first measles case on Dec. 2 and listed Kid Zone in Clearfield, Treehouse Children’s Museum in Ogden, and Walmart Supercenter in Layton as possible exposure sites—unvaccinated residents are urged to get the MMR vaccine. Gephardt Daily

- ➤ Roy High girls basketball coach Josie Williams led a growing team of 19 in Tuesday’s nonregion game against Morgan, where freshman Lily Solomona scored 14 points—fuelling a hard fight despite the Royals falling 54-41—and Williams said reducing 26 turnovers is key before they host Woods Cross on Friday.
