  • Domestic violence shelters across Utah are reporting a spike in hotline calls as holiday pressures rise, and the YCC Family Crisis Center in Ogden expects its shelter to reach full capacity shortly after Christmas & advises that immediate help is available through confidential support lines.  KSL-TV
  • Ogden City Parks Manager Monte Stewart said 75 miles of trails saw steady use since COVID boosted outdoor interest, especially among youth bikers. City officials, supported by grants (totaling over $160K), will upgrade the system with clearer signage and repairs along Weber Parkway and Miles Goodyear Park in coming months.  Standard-Examiner
  • Ogden’s Christmas Village will operate extended hours on Christmas Eve from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Christmas Day from 1 to 10 p.m. — organizers say the extra time follows a No. 2 USA Today ranking as best public holiday lights display, offering more viewing time for families.  Standard-Examiner
