Ugly Sweater Ornament Class

About this event

You’re invited to take a hand crocheted sweater ornament and add all the accessories to make it ugly or even uglier. This class will soon be a holiday favorite.

What

Participants will be able to choose from sequences, pom-poms, tensile, bells and so many other options to take a hand crafted crocheted sweater ornament and make it ugly. This class is family friendly for all ages. No experience is necessary, and all materials will be provided. Just bring your imagination and your willingness to have some fun!

When

Saturday, November 14 from 12-7pm. Drop in any time or sign up for a time slot below.

Ages

Open to all family members. Children under 10 will need help from an adult in handling a glue gun safely.

How to Sign Up and Cancelation:

Register below or just drop in the day of. A full refund, minus a $5 cancellation fee will be given for cancellations more than 7 days before the class. No refunds for canceling less than 7 days before the class begins. If you are using a cell phone and are having trouble registering, turn it in its side. PCs or Laptops seem to work best.

Class will be held at The Local Artisan Collective located in downtown Ogden at 2371 Kiesel Ave, Ogden.

About the instructor:

Jenny Venegas has always found joy in learning and creating through what many refer to as “domestic arts” — sewing, quilting, canning, and embroidery, to name a few. After taking a break from her creative endeavors for many years, she’s gradually returned to her roots with her brand, Aunt GG’s which is inspired by her Great-Aunts Grace and Glady. Jenny creates comforting handmade goods for the home, and patio.
