- ➤ Parents met with Weber School District officials at Valley Elementary School in Eden today to urge retention of two part-time teachers facing layoffs because of declining enrollment and budget cuts; they warned that letting them go could lead to class sizes of 33 to 37 students + affect local classrooms. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ A South Weber toddler remains in critical condition on ECMO life support after doctors performed an unprecedented open-heart procedure and a brain surgery on his birthday to relieve swelling. His family holds onto hope and asks for continued positive thoughts as his condition changes hourly. KSL-TV

- ➤ Ogden will host the LGT World Men’s Curling Championships at Weber County Sports Complex from March 27 to April 4 with 66 athletes from 13 countries.
