GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • North Ogden Police Chief Brian Eynon has been reinstated after an independent review found he made a poor decision by getting intoxicated during a DUI training exercise—he took full responsibility and no crime was committed. • At the 2025 legislative session, lawmakers did not fully fund most water conservation bills for the Great Salt Lake, approving only limited money for dust monitors at $150,000, water leasing for the lake, a visitor center at Antelope Island, and a partial cloud seeding program.
