Good morning, Ogden.

Utah’s Catholic Community Services said it may have to end its refugee resettlement program next year after losing key federal funding from the previous administration and already laying off 25 employees while serving 300 families.

The organization is fighting the funding suspension in court and is seeking private donations — a plea to help sustain its service— as it continues to support current clients.

An email from the IRS Human Capital Officer said the layoff process is underway at Ogden IRS, with staffing cuts coming across several offices—IRS workers must upload their resumes by April 14th for review.

More details on voluntary early retirement or separation are expected next week.
