- ➤ Officials from the Weber County Sheriff’s Office and Weber School District asked for help after vandals sprayed graffiti on the under construction Roosevelt Elementary School in Washington Terrace early June 5 — security camera footage showed four people in hoodies and masks and cleanup efforts will not delay the planned early August opening while a $500 reward is offered for tips. - ➤ UK-based AstraZeneca filed a lawsuit on May 23 against Attorney General Derek Brown and Insurance Commissioner Jon Pike to block state law SB69, which went into effect on May 7 and expands drug discounts for pharmacies working with 340B hospitals— the suit claims the law is unconstitutional and will cause economic harm.
